My great-grandfather was incarcerated at the Topaz War Relocation Center in Utah, U.S. for three years during the Pacific theaters of World War II. In this video work, I performed with a cane that my great-grandfather used in the camps at the time.

私の曽祖父は太平洋戦争中、アメリカのユタ州のトパーズ戦争移住センターに3年間収容 されていました。私はこの作品の中で、当時曽祖父が収容所で使用していた杖を使ってパ フォーマンスを行いました。

These works are what I painted the silhouettes of the Japanese American internment camps on the cover of the LIFE Magazin published during the Pacific theaters of World War II when the Japanese American internment camps existed.

この作品は太平洋戦争中の日系人強制収容所が存在していた時期に発刊されていたライフ 紙の表紙の上に、私が日系人収容所のシルエットを描いた作品です。
