My great-grandfather lived in the United States from 1907 to 1954, spending most of that time in the San Francisco Bay Area. This series of photographic works consists of photographs taken during his time as an immigrant in the U.S., pieces of driftwood I collected along the shores of the San Francisco Bay, and photographs of the ocean I captured there.
