My great-grandfather was incarcerated at the Topaz War Relocation Center in Utah, U.S. for three years during the Pacific theaters of World War II. In these photographic works, I photographed what my great-grandfather once brought back to Japan from there at the site of the Topaz Relocation Center.
私の曽祖父は太平洋戦争中、アメリカのユタ州のトパーズ戦争移住センターに3年間収容 されていました。この作品で私は、トパーズ戦争移住センターの跡地で、曽祖父がその場 所から、かつて日本へと持ち帰っものを撮影しました。
